Experience and background

I hold positions as police superintendent and teacher at the Norwegian Police University College, and researcher at the Norwegian Centre for Human Rights. I completed my MSc in Investigative psychology at the University of Liverpool in 1999 and my PhD on Errors of Justice at the Faculty of Law, University of Oslo in 2009. I am currently engaged in the development of global guidelines for investigative interviewing. My latest projects has involved expert evaluations of criminal cases involving children and other vulnerable suspects.
